The mission of Versus Salon is to provide the ultimate salon experience. We assist you in creating hair designs that fit you and your lifestyle. We specialize in maintaining the health and integrity of your hair using innovative and creative techniques, while working with hair of all types and textures.
At Versus Salon, our team is dedicated to creating beauty both for your everyday lifestyle and your special occasions. Each client is asked to complete a consultation card about their current lifestyle and haircare routine to determine a style and maintenance plan that suits their needs. In the end, our clients receive services and recommendations that are tailored to their personal needs, unique natural hair patterns, and their individual way of life.
Versus has been serving the Hampton Roads community since 2001 and has been Virginia Beach’s first curl-focused salon since 2012.
Meet the team
Michelle
- Salon Manager & Stylist - Michelle has been doing hair since 2001. She has a strong passion for teaching and understanding every client's unique texture.
She is a curl specialist and loves everything about curls! She also specializes in color, cuts on short or long hair.
She is a graduate of Norfolk State University, majoring in Social Work. In her spare time, it is all about her children and family.

Alaina
- Curl Specialist, Stylist - Alaina has been a hair artist since 2014. She has vast experience in all hair textures. She loves continuing her her education and making the client feel valued.

Jazmine Jones
- Curl Specialist, Stylist - Jazmine has been a team member for two years. She has a keen ability to style and design all hair types and textures. She has a strong desire to execute and create any hairstyle requested.
She is also a graduate of Elizabeth City State University, majoring in business and design.

- Curl Specialist, Stylist - Alé has been a licensed hair artist since 2017. She loves everything curly, highlights and color transformations. She enjoys the challenge of corrective color. But most of all she loves HEALTHY hair!
